The CentriVet Glucose Control Solution contains a known concentration of glucose (<0.2%).
It is used for quality control to confirm that the CentriVet Blood Glucose Test Strips and CentriVet Blood Glucose & Ketone Meter are working together properly and that the user is performing the test correctly.
When to use the CentriVet Glucose Control Solution:
- Upon initial use of the CentriVet GK Blood Glucose & Ketone Meter
- When starting a new pack of Blood Glucose Test Strips
- After cleaning the CentriVet Meter
- If the results appear to be inconsistent with the physical behavior of the animal, or you suspect that the meter is damaged.
